Why Ground Zero? During adolescence the foundation of who we will become as adults is established. Jesus is to be the foundation our lives are built upon (1st Corinthians 3:11), as everything finds its purpose in Him (Colossians 1:16 MSG). Ground Zero exists to empower students who are in the “ground zero” of their lives to make Jesus and His word (Matthew 7:24) the “ground zero” of their lives.
What do we do? Using Luke 2:52 (And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.) as a frame work for God’s plan of youth development Ground Zero seeks to serve the mental, physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of teens.
